On a map drawn to scale, 7 cm represents 280 km. How many kilometers are represented by a line 8 centimeters long?​

7 cm is 280 km

You need to divide 280 by 7. This is 40. Now 1 cm is 40 km. Then you can multiply 1*8=8 cm, then 40*8= 320 km. So the answer is 320 km.
