complementary angles add up to 180. knowing this helps us know that these angles add up to 180. Let's say angle A is half of angle B. This means that angle B can be two parts. we can add angle A to the two parts of angle B. This gives us three parts. so we now can divide 180 by 3, giving us 60. The measure of the angle is 60 degrees
