Answer: choice B 12 cm^2

A = (1/2)*b*h

A = 0.5*b*h <---- 1/2 is the same as 0.5

A = 0.5*4*6 <---- replace b with 4; h with 6

A = 2*6

A = 12

Alternatively, you can multiply the base and height to get 24, then cut that in half to get 12.
