30 cups of milk is required to make 4 sticks

So 1 stick of butter will require

[tex]\frac{30}{4}[/tex] = 7.5 cups of milk

So the unit rate = 7.5 cups of milk per stick

Number of cups required for 2 sticks of butter = 7.5 (2) = 15 cups

Number of cups required for 3 sticks of butter = 7.5 (3) = 22.5 cups

Number of cups required for 5 sticks of butter = 7.5 (4) = 37.5 cups

Number of cups required for 6 sticks of butter = 7.5 (6) = 45 cups

The double number line diagram is shown below.
