ATP is not a stable molecule and it is only synthesized or produced when cells needed energy to perform cellular activities.

The energy stored in the form of sugars i.e. sucrose (glucose + fructose) which is a disaccharide. The cell performs aerobic respiration whenever ATP is required  to perform cellular acivities.
