I believe the answer is: Yes, it is.

During the process Of language acquisition, it is important for the learners to comprehend words in the new language with the things that they are familiar with. In the beginning of their efforts, it is very common to make various type of errors. As they go on, the number of errors that they make would start to become gradually reduced.
