Hey!

The formula for finding slope is: [tex] \frac {y_2-y_1} {x_2-x_1} [/tex] or [tex] \frac{difference\ in\ y}{difference\ in\ x } [/tex]

y₂ = 9

y₁ = 6

9 - 6 = 3

x₂ = -3

x₁ = -9

(-9) - (-3) = 6

That gives you: 3/6 = -1/2

[tex] \framebox{Slope = $\dfrac{1}{2}$}} [/tex]
