Your problem: [tex] \frac{m}{2} - \sqrt{5} =3[/tex]

Okay, so first your going to add [tex] \sqrt{5} [/tex] to both sides of your equations.

After, you can go ahead and simplify the equation and multiply both sides by 2.

Then, simplify that and you have your final equation which is :

[tex]m = 6 + 2 \sqrt{5} [/tex]
