 1. You have the following standard form for the hyperbola given in the problem above:  (x-2)^2/36 - (y+1)^2/64=1
 2. Therefore, you can calculate the lengtn of the transverse axis as following:
 Length of transverse axis=2a
 a^2=36
 a=√36
 a=6
 Length of transverse axis=2(6)=12
 Then, the answer is:12
