A) y=-x+27 we can rework that into

A) -x -y = -27 then we'll add that to B)
B) x+4y=-1

3y = -28
y = (-28 / 3)

Now we put that into equation A)
A) y=-x+27
A) (-28 / 3) = -x + 81 / 3
A) -109 / 3 = -x
A) x = (109 / 3) =  36.3333333333 ...
